SUMMARY:Topics in Political Strategy: End Times Fascism
DESCRIPTION:Weekly on Tuesdays\, 7-9 pm ET\n \nThe governing ideology of the far right has become a monstrous\, supremacist survivalism. Our task is to build a movement strong enough to stop them.—Naomi Klein \nThe Topics in Political Strategy study group continues our mix of reading current analytical pieces and a monthly book-length treatment of important topics of political theory. At present we are reading Naomi Klein and Astra Taylor’s End Times Fascism\, a compelling look at three separate yet overlapping political currents of the modern right and how to stop them. \nWe study together to understand the wave of reaction which once again has washed over politics\, its reflection in both long-term historical currents and fast-changing global trends\, and ways to think strategically about new directions for the socialist left.
